Hatchlings

Our Hatchlings classroom in Interlochen is where the youngest members of the Pitter Patter family take their very first steps in learning and discovery. We know that babies thrive when they feel safe, loved, and connected — so our program is designed to nurture both heart and mind from the very beginning.

Our Approach

Infants in the Hatchlings program grow and learn through secure relationships, gentle routines, and meaningful interactions with caregivers. Every day includes:

Responsive care that meets each child’s needs for feeding, rest, and play.
Early language development through songs, stories, and caregiver conversations.
Motor skill practice with safe tummy time, crawling, and movement play.
Sensory exploration with age-appropriate toys and activities.
